When Lilly鈥檚 class visited , she didn鈥檛 just study history, she lived it. 
Armed with a clipboard
and curiosity
, Lilly explored exhibits on the Civil War and the U.S. Air Force, ending the day with a powerful memory: standing before a flag flown at Gettysburg, its bullet holes wearing the story of sacrifice and survival.
But the highlight? Director of Museum & Education, Tim Neff, surprising her and the entire group with personalized dog tags. Lilly now wears them proudly beside her brother鈥檚 Army tag, a symbol of her deepened connection to history and family. 
鈥淚t was like no other museum trip I鈥檝e ever been on,鈥� Lilly said.
